Opie Rose

Lovingly made ... an In Memory Of soap created for Opie. A lovely dichotomy, this lightly scented bar has sweet floral notes of lavender and true rose. Topped with pink organic rose petals, silky smooth in the shower. Created with rich cocoa butter.
 
Opie (his full name was Opie Joseph Vladimir Waldo Ebenezer) was the meowyest cat in the history of earth. He was also the most beautiful, with his stark blue against contrasting his soft buttercup yellow fur. He was sassy, outspoken, adventurous and full of it! His favorite hobbies were squirrel watching, instruction and supervision of his mom and her yoga practice, and for a while harassing and chasing his sister cat Willow whom he eventually grew to love and appreciate. 
He is missed every single day. He was a snuggle bug at night who took up an impressive amount of the bed. He was well behaved, brought a smile to gloomy days and changed minds about non-cat people when they met him.
 
His mom is Kim (you all know Kim) my Ride Or Die friend...Kim is my soaping partner, my life long friend and I have no words for the kind of person she is. She's been with me as each of my dogs have passed away. She is the type of person who doesn't ask why if you call at 2am, she is there. When I had to have hand surgery she said okay teach me, I'll be your hands. And from the months of practice pre-surgery, she began her journey of being by my side for soap making. We LOVED it. So we kept doing it, now it's been years since surgery and we still soap together a few times a month all year long. She is the best pet parent I know. She has wit and humor like I've never seen, she has no filter and it makes grocery shopping together a DELIGHT. She is incredibly smart, loving beyond measure, a devoted friend to us who are lucky enough to know her. I am grateful for this woman in my world Every. Single. Day.
