Bayberry Unscented

A soft mild balsam aroma scents the bar, coming from the bayberry wax, no scent is added. Ideal for sensitive skin.
Feels like: Watching the steam from  your coffee dance with the sunlight.
Silky smooth on the skin. This is a rock solid bar of soap!
Made with: Just two oils, coconut and bayberry wax. Ideal for body and facial care. 
 
Bayberry wax, a bucket list item for yours truly - it was a beast to work with! Bayberry wax comes from the fruit of the plant, Myrica Cerifera. It's the unrefined version of laurel wax (you may remember Laurel Berry soap) with a soft natural scent that comes through saponification beautifully, creating a scented soap without a drop of fragrance being added. Bayberry, a vegan alternative to beeswax, however historically it was used for candlemaking. The natural scent perfumed the air when candles were a mainstay in homes for lighting, alongside beeswax these two hard "oils" are a handful to work with, and well worth it.
