Clyde

Smells like: Simple goodness, simple sweetness, simple purity. Like Clyde did, nothing and everything wrapped in a bundle of perfection.
Left unscented with intention, allowing the natural scent soap exudes to shine through.
Made with: Egg yolk, vanilla bean seeds, skin loving shea butter, so much love, remembering, a smile and a sigh. Silky smooth. An ideal facial care bar too.
 
Clyde was my soulmate dog. He slept by my side, literally against it, for 16.5 years. He was my first foster fail, he was my 22nd foster dog. He was the final piece of the puzzle to my life and the best decision I ever made.
 
He was SO full of exuberance for life, love for food, love for every living creature - not a mean bone in his body. He was perfectly balanced, had a heart of gold, markings that would turn heads, he was animated beyond belief - he didn't have a poker face.
He was the only dog I've ever known to smile, if you were lucky you'd see it - he reserved it for those he really loved. Yeah my dog pack is rad, but Clyde was out of this world. He impacted people around him and brought joy to more than the people within in the four walls of our home than all of us put together. Clyde adored Dr.Marsh, who adored him back. I've never seen a bond between animal and doctor like that. I would venture to guess Dr.Marsh would agree. He once told me "you'll have a lot of dogs, but you'll only have one Clyde"...
 
Clyde ADORED spicy food, nothing was too hot for him. Once at a show, we were setting up table and tent etc. A nearby vendor came over to let me know that our dog had eaten her lunch right off her of her table. I didn't believe her at first, but he had gotten his leash loose and indeed he stole and didn't even chew or taste her entire burrito she had brought for her lunch. Miraculously, he didn't have an upset stomach that night (of course we got her lunch that day) and after that the Chipotle lunch story was infamous. 
 
He utterly lived for food so I decided to change up this batch. Left unscented intentionally, unscented soap still has the most wonderful undertones of aromatics held within. Egg yolks, vanilla bean...some of the most exquisite things in life have gone into this batch. I may change it up again when this one sells out, we'll see. Meanwhile, enjoy everything about this perfect bar of soap.
