Fella
Lovingly created in memory of Fella...fiercely loyal, always by my side, serious to a fault. He was nicknamed my little sentry. Soulmate dogs are once in a lifetime, but I am blessed to have had two and Fella was the first. He was quiet, reserved, serious and always on guard. Never unkind or snarky but always watching.
He loved walking through the rosemary and herbs in the garden, it was probably the only silly thing he ever did. He'd come inside smelling like a bundle of fresh herbs!
I've created this batch after his garden strolls...beautifully scented with essential oils. Notes of rosemary, herbal juniper, sweet spearmint, bright lemongrass and robust peppermint. Both mints are known for being invigorating and uplifting. Rosemary (and the mints) and juniper have strong antibacterial properties, making this a great bar for the face too!
Made with cream because one thing he loved was milk in all forms, he started each morning of his life with a bowl of watered down goat milk to hydrate. Being a desert dog, he never went to the water bowl so I took it upon myself to "Water Fella"...remembering that makes me smile.
