Fella

Smells like: Fella Cakes (his nickname) skip skip skipping through the herb garden.
Notes of rosemary, herbal juniper, sweet spearmint, bright lemongrass and robust peppermint. If you love herbal, lemon-y fresh, minty smelling things this bar is for you! 
Feels like: The smile on my face when he came in the door smelling so wonderful from the things I worked so hard to grow.
This bar makes an incredible facial bar, gentle almost unfelt exfoliation from all the botanicals packed into this batch.
Made with: Fresh cucumber, fresh aloe vera from the garden, mint from the garden, dried sage and spinach. Local honey, fine sea salt --- this bar makes an incredible facial soap!
 
     Lovingly created in memory of Fella...my kindred spirit dog. He was fiercely loyal, always by my side, serious to a fault. He was nicknamed my little sentry. Soulmate dogs are once in a lifetime, but I am blessed to have had two and Fella was the first. He was quiet, reserved, serious and always on guard. Never unkind or snarky but always watching. I loved him fiercely, when he died I grieved fiercely.
      He loved walking through the rosemary and herbs in the garden, it was probably the only silly thing he ever did. He'd come inside smelling like a bundle of fresh herbs, I'd laugh knowing exactly where he'd been outside. This soap is created with his garden strolls in mind: fresh, herbal, light, a hint of sweet. All the good things that grow in the garden are tucked lovingly into this In Memory Of soap.
     I have intentionally put so many good things into this bar of soap, as he put so much goodness into my life, taught me so many things. He opened my eyes, helped me through, walked beside me, always. I hope this bar opens your eyes, makes you smile, as you inhale its beautiful aroma...may it feel like a hug wrapped lovingly around you.
